When solving problems, we put all of our efforts to provide solutions which would fit different perspectives and different visions. Thence, we’ve created the ART RESIDENCE which welcomes artists from various locations all around the globe in 2013, in 2015 we have taken an important step into the entertainment world with its Treasure Hunting attraction and in 2016, we’ve partnered ourselves with a famous Beer Brand in Japan ” Suntory” to conduct the “Share Glass” project within our factory. Here are the main projects ongoing in our factory:

Treasure Hunting Tour-Packaging items collected
Packaging items collected during a Treasure Hunting Tour with Pimenta

Treasure Hunting is  for thrifters and  aficionados about porcelain art. As a factory , we’ve been putting the surplus and the unsold products of our production (for the last 40 years) in a massive warehouse whereinto we have more than  100.000 treasures, splitted between two rooms . The privileged course gives you a special selection of the pieces which can no longer be reproduced and of which the factory is the most proud.

Since 2013, Kouraku Kiln has offered an Artist in Residence program that welcomes artists from various locations around the globe.
With a guest house available on our factory grounds, our residence can include not only sculpting but also product designng from A to  Z.

BEER for everyone everywhere! This is an aim that we thought of thoroughly. Through The Arita Share Glass project, we developed the answer to portable glasses made by the skills of our factory in terms of porcelain making and the strategic business orientation of  one of the famous beer brands in  Japan ,Suntory.  Croudfunders believed in us because we believed in this project, in what it can provide of delight, facilities , to live, love and share happiness.
